My name is Miss Pomfret, the class teacher of Earth- a mixed Year 1 and 2 class. In Earth class, we are so lucky to have Mrs Nicholson and Mrs Simpson as our Teaching Assistants who support our learning during the week. We also have Mrs Rees who teaches on a Tuesday Morning, and Mrs Bowen who teaches on a Tuesday afternoon.
I am so excited for all of the fun learning that will take place this year, as well as completing our 10 class goals that we set at the beginning of the year!
Our class motto is: 'Mistakes are proof that we are trying'. This is something that I think is really important and what I always encourage children to remember, especially when finding something tricky or trying something new.
