Good morning Mars Class!

Here are your lessons for today:

Maths main. Fractions. Make a tower 4 counters high. Say, "If this tower is 1/8, how high is the whole tower of counters?" See photo below. Repeat by building new towers. For each one say, "If this tower is 1/8, how high is the whole tower of counters?" Ask a grown up to check your answers.

Maths main. Place value. Log on to MyMaths and complete the online lesson and homework task Ordering Whole Numbers.

To log on you need to do the following:

1. Visit https://login.mymaths.co.uk/login
2. Enter the school username salesbury and password cosine87
3. Once logged in there is a box on the right where you will enter your own personal user name and password (as seen on the email attachment which your parents received). 
4. You will then see the lesson that you need to log into. 
5. Complete the online lesson first and work through each slide. 
6. Once complete, then work through the online homework task

English. Using the information from yesterday and any of your own research,
create a mind map to show all that you have  learnt about the Wright brothers. Include all the key information that you have found out and add some pictures/drawings too. Can you include any of the new vocabulary that you explored yesterday? See PowerPoint below for an example of a mind map.

Science. Mini-beast hunting and classification. (This is the last day of the project.) Sort the mini-beasts you know according to their characteristics. Use the PowerPoint below. Write the names of mini-beasts in different circles. Don't forget to release your mini-beast from it's habitat box this evening!
