• Select from the following ideas to produce a writing outcome:

1. Discuss if you would like to be Mr Twit or Mrs Twit and why? Write this with reasons.
2. Which chapter did you like best? Write a recommendation or book review of your favourite chapter.
3. Write a diary as if you were Mr or Mrs Twit based on one of the chapters.

Other activities you may choose to do today, could be:

• Revise your French vocabulary with the PowerPoint below on food
• Art (Large Scale Structures in Northern England): Research and sketch/paint/collage/make your own version of the Angel of the North by Antony Gormley (in Gateshead)
• Print out the letterhead below and write a welcome letter to children starting at our Nursery (T-Rex) in September. Write a ‘Hello!’ at the start and sign off with your own name. You may wish to include: how welcome they will feel; how good our nursery/school is; what fun activities they will be doing; out of school activities they might do;  what the staff are like and how you look forward to seeing them. Please write on the paper and then scan and email it to me. Keep it really, really neat!
