White Rose Mastery Mathematics Scheme from EYFS to Year 6 is used to support staff with their weekly planning. Each unit is carefully planned with consideration of parallel year groups to personalise learning.
Each classroom develops a working wall, displaying key vocabulary, learning focus, resources, worked examples and models throughout the week to support the children’s learning as they work through different questions including word problems.
Parental partnership is key, especially as we continue to develop a ‘mastery approach’ to Mathematics within our delivery. Teachers use their Facebook closed class groups to post working examples so parents have an understanding of what we are teaching and how, displaying the various manipulatives and strategies used.
