LO: Can I make 3D shapes using modelling materials?

For today’s lesson you are going to be making or creating 3D models using materials. Use the document 'Creating 3D Shapes with Materials' document to see different ideas of what you could create. You could use matchsticks, straws, lollipop sticks, small thin strips of wood to represent your edge. You could use play dough, blue or white tack, or even marshmallows to represent your vertices.

Please do not worry if you do not have any of the necessary materials! I have attached a few nets that you could print out to create the shapes with paper instead. You do not need to print out and create all the nets, they are only there so you have a choice of shapes to create.

Press the virtual classroom where you will find games and a video created by Miss. Romaniw about the lesson.

The documents are below. Please email your creations to your teacher.
