Salesbury this week!
Blogs PagePOEM
Each class is going to be learning a poem this week ready to perform next week. Our class poem is called "The Tyger" you can find a copy of it and a video as a tab on our class page. The idea is that we each learn it and then on an online platform (technical details to follow later) we get together online as a class to perform it!
5.6.20
Maths: Talk about the word “double”. Have you ever had a double ice cream? What does a double pram look like? Which is the double in a game of dominoes? Establish that double means the same again. Use paint to explore doubles: fold a piece of paper in half, paint 1 spot on one side (finger print or a cork from a wine bottle is perfect), fold the paper and press down. Open it up and count the spots. How many are there altogether. Establish that double 1 is 2. Repeat with numbers to 6.
