My name is Mrs Rees and I teach Year 5. I have worked at Salesbury School for 8 years. I feel extremely privileged to be part of a profession which focuses on helping children to grow, develop and flourish. I love seeing children develop their confidence and independence. I enjoy teaching all subjects but my favourite has to be History. I am the History Coordinator in school and have a real passion for the subject. My other specialism is languages. As a fluent speaker of Dutch and German and having previously taught in a High School in Germany, I teach German to children in both Neptune and Saturn.

If you need to contact me at any time please email rees@salesbury.lancs.sch.uk

I can't do it yet!

This is our class motto. The children do face some challenging tasks in school and we want them to have a can do attitude to face them. We often think about our learning pit and how important it is to try different strategies to get ourselves out of it. It works well with our 4Rs, Resilience, Reflectiveness, Reciprocity and Resourcefulness which we in still throughout our whole learning journey.

Growth Mindset

It is very important to have a Growth Mindset for learning. We need to keep trying when things get tough!
