Our Class Novel

March 2021

This half term we are reading The Explorer by Katherine Rundell.  This story is set in the Amazon Rainforest and is about four children who are left stranded when their planes crashes. Will they survive? Will they cope with the challenges that lie ahead? 

 

September 2020

We have chosen to read about the life of young William Beech and Mr Tom Oakley in Goodnight Mr Tom by Michelle Magorian. Set in World War Two, the children are about to discover what it was like to be an evacuee and embark on an inspiring journey.
