Children can learn how to take risks, becoming resourceful, innovative, enterprising and capable citizens. Through the evaluation of past and present design and technology, they develop a critical understanding of its impact on daily life and the wider world. Furthermore, the children can make an essential contribution to the creativity, culture, wealth and well-being of the nation.

 

Teachers formatively assess the children each time they take part in designing, making, evaluating and problem solving, based on the lesson objectives/learning question. Work is marked in line with the school’s Marking and Feedback Policy.
