Hello, Mercury Class!

I hope you are enjoying our tasks, this week!

Please see, below, our remote learning tasks for today.

English

Enjoy today’s Anansi Story Time at: https://salesbury.primarysite.media/playlist/mercury-class and on facebook at 9am.

Test yourself on your spellings for the test (as seen on the Class Web Page at https://www.salesbury.lancs.sch.uk/mercury-year-3-4/): gently, simply, happy, pretty, easy, sleepy, greedy, clumsy, angry.

Mrs Murphy’s group test yourself with your words you learnt from the HFW List below.

Year 4/Year 3/Table 2

  • I would like you to think about all the work over the last two weeks and language found.
  • I would like you to create an acrostic poem.
  • Write ‘Spider’ down the side of your page and start each line with that letter. Try to use the best vocabulary you can.

Mathematics

Today’s work:

Year 4:  Convert from kilograms to grams and vice versa.

Year 3:  Describe, name and sort 3-D shapes using a Carroll diagram.

Table 2:  Investigate odd and even numbers.

Please work through the activity document files – either by looking at the screen and writing the answers down or by printing off the sheets. Follow the instructions carefully and make sure you look through the sheets before you begin, so you can find the answers, extra support materials and the different levels of task - Mild (easier) and Hot (harder). There may also be activities to work with somebody else on. If there is a PowerPoint Presentation, then watch this first, listening to the teaching at the same time. All the answers are provided.

Other Activities
