Whole Class Reading

Please watch the Mouse Bird Snake Wolf video (12 minutes long) in the Video Resource Centre – Topaz Class (it may be accessible at this link: Mouse Bird Snake Wolf | Salesbury Church of England Primary School (primarysite.media), then answer the questions at the right moments, when I ask you to pause.

 

  1. Is what Little Ben and Sue are doing the right thing? Please explain your answer.
  2. Do you think the children’s actions are sensible? Explain your thoughts.
  3. Are they filling a necessary ‘gap’ or ‘space’? Explain your answer.
  4. Write a letter to the characters to offer them your advice.

History (Thursday AND Friday)

Today and tomorrow, we are thinking about the legacy of the Romans. This means what they have left us, what they taught us and what is still around these days, because of the Romans.

Now I would like you to spend today and tomorrow researching and presenting your findings, explaining the legacies of the Romans. It may be on paper or on the computer. Take care with presentation and make your work look attractive and inviting for the reader, as well as containing all the key information.

 

PE

Please attend the 12.30pm Teams Meeting, suitable dressed and with space to exercise!

 

Computing

Each day, this week, I would like you to spend time on this site Learn Touch Typing Free - TypingClub, to practise your Touch Typing skills. With regular practice, this will help you to speed up and become a more effective typist! Please let me know how you are getting on.
