Here are your lessons for today:
Maths warm up. Place value. Learn how to order numbers up to 1000. Find a long piece of paper or masking tape. Draw an empty number line right down the middle. Mark the left end 0 and the right end 1000. Then mark intervals for the hundreds from 0 to 1000.
See example in photo below. Now mark the following numbers on your number line:
540, 379, 771, 134, 805, 415.
Maths main. Fractions. Click on the link to see the activity called Fraction Match. Print it out if you can and cut the fractions out. Compare the fractions visually, identify the ones that are the same size and match them up. Time yourself, see how quickly you can do it!
