English. "Hunted". View the film Hunted again on Vimeo https://vimeo.com/36998393

Use a dictionary to look up the definition of ‘hunt’ and develop a word bank of synonyms by using a thesaurus. You could use the online dictionary and thesaurus at: https://www.wordhippo.com/

Spelling. The /^/  sound spelt "ou".                                                                                  Look at the PowerPoint below. Identify the "ou"sound in the six words. Sound out each word and write it down, draw a box round the "ou" and commit it to memory. There is a dictation exercise for you to do. When you have finished, play teacher and mark your own work. Practise the rest of the spellings for this week and then ask a grown up to test you. Try and get top marks!
