Teams Meeting 9.30am Today

Hello, children!

It was wonderful to see you at yesterday’s Teams Meetings! I hope I can see you all at the meeting today. I am interviewing from 10 until 6pm today, so please bear with me if I don’t get back to you via email, during the day.

Thank you very much for all the work you are sending – and the super efforts on LbQ!

Please attend the online meeting and work through the tasks below. Don't forget to email me your work to: kellington@salesbury.lancs.sch.uk

Today, we have Mathematics, Reading, English, Art & Design, RE and Computing.

Whole Class Reading/English

Please read your copy (from yesterday) of Deforestation Debate Article or use the version below.

Answer the Deforestation Debate Article questions, below.

Please make sure you learn your Spellings for the test on Friday!

Art and Design

Following on from the work you did yesterday, I would like you to produce your own Roman mosaic! You may use coloured pencil, pens, paint, coloured paper or even make it on a computer.

Use the example sheet below and take inspiration from your research yesterday!

RE

Today’s tasks are set by Mrs Howell-Jones!

Please read the Lord's prayer out loud:

Our Father, who art in heaven,

hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come;

thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread;

and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us;

lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory

For ever and ever

Amen

Now, please choose 3 lines of the prayer which you find most interesting/inspiring.

Answer these questions about each line. Write out the line and then answer these questions for each:

1) What do you think this line means?

2) How do you think Christians will feel when they pray these words?

3) How do you think these words help Christians to live their Christian life?

Computing

Each day, this week, I would like you to spend time on this site Learn Touch Typing Free - TypingClub, to practise your Touch Typing skills. With regular practice, this will help you to speed up and become a more effective typist! Please let me know how you are getting on.
