Music is taught each week as part of our curriculum offer. We teach the Charanga programme and have adapted units to create our own scheme of work.
Music is greatly enhanced through an array of opportunities.
Choir led by Mrs Gill Fourie - open to all children from Key Stage 2 each Tuesday morning at 8.30am
Individual/Small group lessons throughout the week
Guitar taught by Create Music
Brass taught by Mr Broomhead
Piano taught by Mrs Partington
Singing taught by Mrs Arbor
The Choir and Year 3/4 perform in Let's Go Sing each year.
Performances:-
Nativity - EYFS and Key Stage 1
Easter Music and Dance - Year 3 and 4
End of Year production - Year 5 and 6,
As part of our enhanced curriculum offer - all children will see a Live Orchestra and Live Musicians at least 2/3 times during their journey through Salesbury.
