PE and Sport Premium

Our current cohort of Year 6 children (2020) are currently attending swimming lessons with school each Friday.  All children have now reached the distance of 25 metres with many confident and competent swimmers.  We are currently targeting developing an effective range of strokes and performing safe self-rescue.  Some of the children hope to represent the school in just a few weeks time at the Swimming Gala

• Swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres
• Use a range of strokes effectively
• Perform safe self-rescue in different water-based situations
