Uniform Information

We thank all our parents for sending their children to Salesbury - smart and ready for learning.

In nursery, children wear navy joggers or leggings, a white tshirt or polo shirt and a red sweatshirt.  A sweatshirt with our nursery school logo on it can be ordered at https://myclothing.com/

We encourage children to wear footwear they can easily put on and take off.

As children progress into school, the uniform grows with them!

Children wear a red/gold striped tie and red jumper or cardigan with the school logo on.  These can be purchased from local uniform suppliers in Blackburn and Clitheroe.

The rest of the uniform consists of grey skirt, trousers, shorts or pinafore dress and a white shirt or blouse.

Socks/tights should be grey, white or black.

Shoes should be black.

In warmer weather, children can choose to wear a red gingham/checked dress or grey shorts and a white polo tshirt.

These can all be purchased from the place of your choice and are usually widely available in a range of stores and supermarkets.

Children may wear their PE Uniform on the two days they do PE.  Please bear this in mind when purchasing other uniform as they will only be wearing it on 3 days per week if you choose that option.

The PE Uniform consists of a red/white tshirt with logo, black and red tracksuit jacket and joggers with logo and any pair of trainers.  The PE uniform is bought via the school.  As an alternative, children may also come to school in their uniform as normal and change for PE in to black shorts/white or red tshirt and trainers.

Long hair must be tied back on each day - we ask that hair accessories are kept simple in school colours red, grey, black or white.

Earrings must not be worn in EYFS and Key Stage 1.  From Year 3 onwards, children may choose to wear a simple stud earring on the days they do not do PE.  We ask that any piercing is done at a time which enables the children to take out the earrings on PE days.

We ask that children do not wear earrings at all on the days they do PE as this prevents loss and enables parents to help with removal etc.

We encourage children to make the most of the great outdoors so coats are needed!

Children in EYFS/KS1 may also bring slippers as an indoor footwear alternative - these should be a simple, full shoe with a sole.
