School Council

Welcome to our School Council Page!

Our School Council represent the views of all pupils in our school and allows all children to have a voice. Our members were elected by their class peers to help make a difference for our school and community. They play an active role in shaping our school environment, making important decisions about school and planning school-wide initiatives and fundraisers.

Taking God's word as our compass, our School Council is guided by the following bible verse:

Matthew 5:16 Moon & Stars Print

We are all God's children and are called to 'give glory' to our Father in heaven through our 'good works'.   This reminds us of the importance of our actions. Our actions allow us to let our light shine. Our actions allow us to share the light of Jesus with those around us. As members of School Council, we seek to let our light shine by doing 'good works' on behalf of and to serve our peers, school and wider community.

Show Racism the Red Card

We took part in Show Racism the Red card day 2025 and raised money for this worthwhile charity. All the children in school created hearts and wrote anti-racism messages on them. School Council judge the art work and the winning designs are displayed in school.

The Big Hog Friendly Litter Pick Challenge

School Council and Eco Council have joined forces to take part in this nationwide litter pick challenge. We are hoping that by taking part in this initiative we will make a difference in our school grounds as well as in the wider community.
