Salesbury - Giving all our children a voice!
This year, we will be celebrating our focus on oracy by providing all children with the opportunity to speak up in a public setting. This may be in front of their class or in front of a wider audience at our end of year presentations. Children have been given a choice of titles to inspire their 'speech' and are preparing a short 1-3 minute presentation for their peers. Classes will then use informed democracy to choose their 2 class representatives to present at the end of the year. We are excited to listen to our children and find out what they have to say!
Our Public Speaking Presentation has been generously supported by two local businesses who are keen to support this venture - The Moorings Bakery and Brewers Contractors.

Children will present their talks to their class during the week of 1st July. Children will then use informed democracy to choose the 2 children who should perform their speeches at the end of year presentations.
