Mrs Reeve
Welcome to Moon Class,
My name is Mrs Reeve and I am the Early Years and Key Stage 1 Leader at Salesbury CE Primary School, and the Class Teacher of Moon, a mixed Reception/Year 1 Class. I am proud to be part of the teaching team here at Salesbury, as well as the Senior Leadership Team. Teaching is a job that I love, in fact I would say that it is the best job in the world! No day is the same, that is why I am still inspired by this profession. I love helping children to fulfil their potential.
Mrs Holgate works alongside me on a Monday to Thursday, with Miss Garmston on a Friday. Mrs Clifford also supports in class on a Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon. All staff support the children with their learning.
We have a fantastic learning environment across both Star and Moon classrooms, and a shared outdoor area too. We are very lucky to share our outdoor area with Nursery and Reception also have weekly Forest School sessions. A typical day in our class involves opportunities for learning together as a whole class, teacher-led inputs in small groups and learning through play across our indoor and outdoor spaces.

Weekly Timetable
Monday: Reading books changed
Tuesday: PE kits to be worn, indoor PE lesson, Mrs Holgate teaches in the afternoon
Wednesday: Mrs Holgate teaches in the afternoon, visit to the library to choose a new book with Mrs Clifford
Thursday: PE kits to be worn - Y1 PE lesson and Reception at Forest School, Homework folders collected
Friday: Spellings and key words set for Y1, weekly home learning task sent home for Reception
